I really spend too much time on Facebook. I enjoy the conversation and I enjoy sharing things so I’m on there quite a bit during the day, even though I have a lot of other things I should be doing.
To make my time there a little more productive, I’ve decided to start a new Facebook page in association with this site. The name of the page is If you read nothing else today… and it will be focused on reading, literature and the wonders of language contained there. You’ll occasionally see some cross-promotion between the page and this site. I encourage you take a moment to visit.
I’m starting this page because I am trying to move beyond writing about technology into broader educational subjects and I’m bothered by decline in literacy that’s been happening over the years. I have always enjoyed reading for its own sake and would also like to encourage others to explore some of the other worlds contained in books.
I will try to provide links to as many low-cost and free resources for reading as possible on the page, however I will also be including affiliate links to Amazon and other sites when appropriate, just as I do on this site.
Enjoy the page! I welcome your comments and suggestions.
